TEXT: Ex 13:3; Isa 48:13;
“Then Moses said to the people, commemorate this day, the day you came out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery because the Lord brought you out of it with a mighty hand…”
What is the Hand of the Lord?
As same as our hands but only greater, God’s hand:
-Delivers Ex13:3; Deut 26:8
-Brings Revelation 2Kings 3:14-15
-Brings Access and unusual Favour Ezra 7:6. If it is the normal then it is strategy but the unusual and consistency that makes it Favour.
-Brings Victory and Breakthrough Isa 45:1
-Diverse Miracles Eze 37:1.God prides himself/ strives in the environ of impossibilities.
– Divine Speed 1Kings 18:46; Neh 2;17; 6:15. He compresses/ brings foward your future needs/plans into your now to favor you; He gifts you Time.
-Establish and Stabilize Ps 89:20-21; 1 Sam 16:12; Acts 2:29-30. He does not only build your progress but also build as well your defense for protection. He so elevates your value that nothing is permitted to happen without your consent or approval. He does this so that when you have grown, no one would be able to bring you down.
NOTE:
The Lord does not make small establishment but one that would last after life itself. Ps 89:21-29
The difference between David and Saul is that while the former feared/cherished God greatly the later had fear of men and their judgement; he is swift to sell God’s orders to gain the applauds of men. He was too quick to ignore the one who placed him on the throne, who gave him recognition in the eyes
WHAT HINDERS THE HAND OF GOD
The major thing that can hinder the hand of God from a man us SELF. Other things sin, pride and his cohorts comes after waiting for self to make the grand opening.
Self limits greatly the hands of God. It necessarily doesn’t cost God anything but costs us everything that we should benefit from Him.
